Shire of Boyup Brook contract commences
Perthwaste Green Recycling has commenced a long-term contract to collect kerbside waste and recycling wheelie bins in the Shire of Boyup Brook. The contract also includes the processing of recyclables.
The contract which commenced on 21 September 2015, marks the introduction of a fortnightly kerbside recycling services in the Shire of Boyup Brook. The first collections will take place on Wednesday 23 September 2015.
Perthwaste’s Bunbury Branch Manager, Mr Greg Miller said “We are pleased to be partnering with the Shire of Boyup Brook to deliver its enhanced kerbside waste and recycling services.”
“The addition kerbside recycling services will improve the Shire’s total recycling rate in an environmentally and economically sustainable way,” he added.
All recycling collected by Perthwaste Green Recycling in the Shire of Boyup Brook is consolidated at Perthwaste’s Transfer Station in Bunbury, then transferred in bulk to the Perthwaste Materials Recovery Facility in Bibra Lake (20km south of Perth) for processing.
